Terms of Service

Last updated October 21, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and 1000off (“1000off”, “we”, “us”). They apply to the 1000off website, our listing pages and the 1000off browser extension (together, the “service”). By using the service, including running a price check, signing in or installing the extension, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

Please read the sections “No warranties”, “Limitation of liability” and “Disputes and arbitration” carefully. They limit our responsibility and explain how disputes are resolved, including a waiver of class actions.

1. What 1000off is

1000off is a free information tool. It compares asking prices from car listings published by third parties and shows estimates such as shipping costs and savings. We are not a dealer, broker, lender or agent. We don’t sell, inspect or deliver cars, we aren’t a party to any purchase, and we aren’t paid by the sellers we show.

2. Information comes from third parties

Listings, prices, mileage, photos, availability, dealer details and vehicle specifications come from dealers, listing sites and data providers we don’t control. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and a car may already be sold. Savings, “same car” matches, typical prices and shipping costs are automated estimates, not offers, quotes or appraisals. Before you buy, check the vehicle’s history, condition and title, have it inspected, and confirm the full out-the-door price, including taxes and fees, directly with the seller.

3. Your use of the service

4. No warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the service will find a lower price, that any listing is accurate or available, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1000off and its owners, employees and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the service, any listing, any vehicle, any seller or any purchase, even if we were told such damages were possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to zero dollars ($0), because the service is free. If a court decides that limit is not enforceable, our total liability will not exceed fifty dollars ($50). Some places don’t allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you; in that case they apply to the fullest extent allowed.

6. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless 1000off and its owners from any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your dealings with any seller or third party.

7. Third-party sites and the extension

The service links to and reads from third-party sites. We aren’t responsible for their content, practices or availability. The extension works on certain car listing sites only when you click it; your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.

8. Changes and termination

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the service at any time, and may suspend access for anyone who misuses it. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service means you accept the update.

9. Disputes and arbitration

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

Any dispute that isn’t resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Florida, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and 1000off each waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action or class arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration section within 30 days of first using the service by emailing us with your name and a statement that you opt out. If arbitration doesn’t apply, disputes will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

10. Other terms

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
