Used Toyota 4Runner deals

The 4Runner is one of the best value-holding vehicles you can buy. The same basic design ran from 2010 to 2024, so a 2019 and a 2023 are very similar trucks. That makes model year a weak guide to price, and comparing the exact car essential.

Which 4Runner to look for
- 2010–2024 (5th generation): SR5, SR5 Premium, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, Limited, Nightshade, Venture, TRD Pro, plus special editions like the 40th Anniversary and Trail Special Edition. All have the 4.0 V6.
- 2025 and later (6th generation): all-new with turbo and hybrid engines; priced much higher.
- 2WD or 4WD: SR5 and Limited come in both. Compare the same drivetrain.
Where 4Runner buyers overpay
- Paying for the newest year. A 2023 and a 2020 are almost the same truck. Let miles and condition, not year, set the price.
- TRD Pro prices. The TRD Pro has its own market.
- Special editions. Fun, but not always worth a big premium.
- Lifts and accessories. Rarely worth what sellers add.
