Used Ford F-150 deals

$7,554 lessThe F-150 is the hardest popular vehicle to price, because there are so many versions: three cab sizes, several bed lengths, a handful of engines, 2WD or 4x4, and trims from the basic XL to the Raptor. Two "2021 F-150 XLTs" can be very different trucks. Compare the exact build and you'll often find thousands in difference.

Which F-150 to look for
- 2015–2020 (13th generation): aluminum body; XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited and Raptor.
- 2021–2023 (14th generation): updated interior and tech, the PowerBoost hybrid with onboard generator, the Tremor (2021) and the V8 Raptor R (2023).
- 2024 and later: a refresh with new tech.
- Engines: 3.3 V6, 2.7 and 3.5 EcoBoost V6, 5.0 V8, the 3.5 PowerBoost hybrid and, through 2021, a 3.0 Power Stroke diesel.
Where F-150 buyers overpay
- Comparing different builds. SuperCrew (four full doors) costs more than SuperCab. 4x4 costs more than 4x2. Check both before comparing.
- Trim packages. An XLT with the 302A package is a much nicer truck than a base XLT. Listings don't always say; a VIN lookup or window sticker will.
- Lifts and wheels. Aftermarket add-ons rarely add the value a seller asks for.
- Distance. Trucks are worth shopping across a wide area; the same truck can be much cheaper an hour away.
